Just a quick reminder that Wisconsin's biggest pub trivia tournament, Quizmaster Cup VII, is back on April 15th at the Milwaukee Ale House. Registration is now open, so be sure to reserve your table online now...



Given the hustle and bustle of quiz night in recent weeks at the Grafton Ale House (drawing over 90 bloody-thirsty Grafton queeps in some instances), twas a relatively quiet night of quizzin' for a livin' for QM Ryan this Thursday night. Still, 13 teams and over 60 quizzers were in the house for another dose of trivia fun.

And yes, as this post's title suggests, the QM is now taking alternative forms of payment, as was evident of the night....


One beloved quizzer was short of his $1 entry fee, and so cashed-in his TWO McDonalds vouchers as a form of quiz payment. Quizmaster now also accepts bus tickets, 18 forms of currency (please no North Korean Wons though) and free entry passes to local strip clubs. Preferably not one to Art's Performing Center, but if you have to we'll take 'em.

We do not take the Discover card.

Anyway, the show rolled on and Random Answers once again showed their class, pulling out another win.

Second was a closer affair, as sudden death was needed to separate two teams, but We don't like it when juice wears tights! came through unscathed in the end, $20 better off...


The best team name award was undoubtedly a tough one, with several teams referencing either the Mayor McCheese question or the one about "Gherkins" (and how delicious they are), but ultimately the lads from Who went deeper? James Cameron or Bill Clinton took the prize...


They're gents at heart! Honest!

Anyway, the league continues. Be sure to include a "league team name" in parentheses on your answer sheet each week so the QM can track your score in the league table to the right!!
